Na początkowym etapie etykietą Urban Impulz podpisywali swoje kawałki Martino B i CJ Reign. Głównym celem była produkcja numerów oscylujących wokół speed garage i bassline house, muzyki czerpiącej z mocniejszej odmiany garage.
Od 2005 roku czyli od chwili kiedy pokazali szerszej publiczności swoje pierwsze tracki, projekt rozwinął skrzydła, ekipa poszerzyła się o nowe postaci powiększając swój muzyczny asortyment. Grupa uruchomiła radio internetowe dostępne 24 godziny na dobę w którym można z każdego miejsa na świecie słuchać live setów oraz archiwalnych mixów każdego z członków ekipy prezentując najciekawsze winyle i gorące exclusive tracki prosto od producentów z całego świata. Urban Impulz organizowało również 2 serie imprez 'Bassline Madness' oraz 'Bassline House Rave', które odbywały się w każdy ostatni weekend miesiąca w łódzkich Kontrastach.
Obecnie skład grupy to: Martino B. (Bassline, Club Classics, Jackin, Electroline), CJ Reign (UK Garage, Jackin House, Classic House), Local Hero (Speed Garage, Bassline House, Heavy Bass, Dubstep), Sebastian W (Funky House, Upliftin Trance, Progressive), Pr0t0n (UK Garage, Soulful & Funky House).
At the first stage Martino.B and CJ Reign signed tunes under the Urban Impulz name. Duo's main target was to produce tracks in speed garage / bassline house genre, music influenced by the tuffer side of garage.
Since 2005, that is when they had shown their tracks to wider audience, project went stronger, crew enhanced with new artists extending it's musical assortment. In the meantime group run internet radio station, broadcasting 24/7, where its possible to hear live sets and archive mixes from every member, presenting the most interesting vinyl releases and hot exclusives from the producers of the entire planet. Urban Impulz also organised 2 gig series, 'Bassline Madness' and 'Bassline House Rave', which was in every last weekend of the month in Kontrasty club, Lodz.
